The deck unit type installation is a complete marine propulsion unit that combines the rudder propeller and diesel engine assembly in series. It includes diesel engines and rudder propellers, with advantages such as reliable operation and compact structure. The diesel engine transmits power to the rudder propellers through elastic couplings, clutches, and universal joints. The base is equipped with components such as hydraulic system, electronic control box, and daily fuel. Due to the deck unit type rudder propeller being integrated, all components and systems inside the unit are connected, installed, and debugged before loading onto the ship. -
Well box installation
The installation of rudder propeller shaft is particularly suitable for tugboats, ferries, floating docks on drilling platforms, and inspection vessels. This installation method can meet the requirements of distance variation between the rudder blade and diesel engine. When the engine compartment is small, the distance between the rudder blade and the diesel engine can be very close, and it can also be suitable for long-distance rotation of the diesel engine and rudder blade. The rudder propeller is installed in the well box of the ship's hold, and the length of the rudder propeller column can be determined according to the changes in the ship's hull to meet the needs of installation. The upper edge of the well box is generally required to be higher than the waterline, so that the ship can install and remove the rudder propeller in a floating state. -

Stern mounted installation
The installation of rudder propeller and stern type is one of the three installation forms of Wanlida rudder propeller, which is suitable for ship types with small engine space, such as floating cranes, passenger ships, amphibious work ships, etc. Fix the installation plate with a seal on the stern crossbeam, with the rudder propeller bolted onto this installation plate. The upper part of the rudder propeller is bolted onto the pin shaft, and the lower part is tightened onto the thrust ring seat. When the thrust snap ring is released, the rudder propeller can be lifted around the pin shaft. To reduce noise, elastic installation can also be used.
