On July 11, 2025, in order to put into practice the Chamber of Commerce's philosophy of promoting mutual exchange, enhancing understanding, and strengthening connections among member enterprises, a temporary working group led by the Chamber's President, Xu Zhenghua, and including Executive Vice President Huang Ping, Vice Presidents Li Changbo, Zhou Jun, and Zhong Genyuan, Secretary-General Li Dagang, Directors Luo Qi and Lü Qigang, and Supervisor Lai Yu, visited Wanlida Marine Power System (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., a member company of the Chamber. The company's General Manager, Zhang Kaiyi, warmly received the working group.

Wanlida Marine Power Systems (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. was established on January 4, 2016, and is primarily engaged in the design, manufacturing, and technical services of marine power systems and related equipment. Its core business encompasses the research and development and production of marine power systems and deck machinery, as well as the design and import/export of electromechanical equipment and components. In May 2024, it participated in the bidding for a rudder propeller system project of China Communications Construction Company Shanghai Dredging Equipment Industry Co., Ltd.  It is a high-tech enterprise and a provincial-level private technology enterprise. In August 2024, it was selected as one of the first batch of three-star cloud-based enterprises in Jiangsu Province. It holds four trademarks, 32 patents, and two qualification certificates, and has independently developed the patented technology for a "ship's lateral thruster emergency stop and start device."

At the beginning of the event, the working group first visited the company's first factory area. Led by Mr. Zhang, they toured the company's equipment and component processing workshop. Mr. Zhang provided the working group with a detailed explanation of the application scenarios and processing procedures of various components of the marine power system. During a break in the tour, they went to the factory's conference room, where Mr. Zhang gave a detailed presentation on the company's development history and current status. He also exchanged management and development experiences with representatives from the participating member companies. President Xu Zhenghua, on behalf of the Chamber of Commerce, expressed his regards to Mr. Zhang and his company. As an important agenda item of this visit, President Xu Zhenghua and Executive Vice President Huang Ping presented Mr. Zhang with a plaque designating "Wanlida Marine Power System (Suzhou) Co., Ltd." as a "Council Member Unit (First Term)". The plaque presentation ceremony concluded successfully in a warm atmosphere.

Awarding Ceremony

Following the exchange and discussion session and the awarding ceremony, the working group, led by General Manager Zhang, moved to the company's second factory area and visited the assembly and integration workshop for marine power systems. In the assembly and integration workshop, the working group observed firsthand the assembly, integration, and testing processes of various power components of the marine power systems. The members of the working group expressed their admiration for the company's strict quality control during the production process.

After completing the visit, the working group held a small-scale member meeting organized by President Xu Zhenghua.  The meeting reviewed the recent work of the chamber of commerce and discussed and planned the tasks for the next phase. The visit concluded successfully after the meeting.
